Through out the unit I learned that the camera allows you to set different modes depending on the situation and not all cameras have the same exact features. I also learned that each camera mode responds differently according to the brightness/darkness and the colors in the deep areas of the photo.

Understanding Exposure Mode

A-DEP: Allows you to select your f/stop. It uses the distance between the object and camera so the whole picture is sharp. It selects your shutter speed for you according to the aperture you picked.
Av: Allows you to choose your aperture, the camera selects the shutter speed according to you aperture choice
M: Allows you to You basically get control over all the features including the aperture and shutter speed

Understanding ISO

Largest ISO

Smallest ISO

The ISO is how the camera captures the light to make the photo grainy or smooth. The ISO in the camera smooths out the picture as the ISO goes down. The ISO in the photo show that smoothness or graininess. The exposure to light in the the smallest ISO picture shows a dim light. The exposure to light in the largest ISO shows a bight light, but in the largest ISO picture you can see more glare in the background.

Understanding Sutter Speed

Shutter speed is what the shutter does to the light in camera. The camera reacts to when you hit the shutter button and you can change the shutter speed according to the object. The exposure has to be change if the shutter speed changes and that go for aperture too.
Slow Shutter Speed (blurry subject)
Fast Shutter Speed (frozen subject)

Understanding Aperture

Aperture is the size of the opening in the lens that permits light to hit the film/digital sensor.
